Knysna Grain Mill – Store Policy

1. Introduction


Knysna Grain Mill produces fresh, organic, stone-milled grains and grain products using ancient and heritage varieties. The following policy outlines our terms regarding ordering, production, delivery, returns, and customer service.

2. Fresh Production & Lead Time


All products are milled and prepared fresh on demand.
Please allow a lead time of 1–2 weeks from the time of order confirmation to dispatch.
We will keep you informed regarding the progress of your order.

3. Ordering & Payment


Orders can be placed only through our online store.
Please follow the instructions on our online store page.
We accept payment via EFT, credit or debit card.
We deliver throughout South Africa via trusted courier services.
Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and the size of the order.
Orders are shipped after production is complete, typically within 1–2 weeks.
Local pickup in Knysna is available by prior arrangement.
International shipping may be available upon request. All import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Returns & Refunds


Due to the nature of our freshly milled products, we do not accept returns unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, including a description and photographs where applicable.
If approved, we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after resolution.
We do not accept returns for change of mind, taste preferences, or courier-related delays beyond our control.

6. Product & Allergen Disclaimer


Our products are made using gluten-containing grains such as wheat, spelt, emmer, and einkorn.
All products are processed in a facility that handles gluten.
Knysna Grain Mill is not responsible for any allergic reactions or sensitivities that may result from consuming our products. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient and allergen information before purchase.

7. Storage Guidelines


To preserve freshness, store products in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
For extended shelf life, refrigeration or freezing is recommended.

8. Privacy & Data Protection


We only collect personal information necessary to fulfill your order.
Your data is kept secure and is never shared with third parties without your consent.
